Stage and TV Star Bebe Neuwirth (Lilith)
plays Belleayre Music Festival on July 26

Highmount, NY - Broadway and TV star Bebe Neuwirth will perform at the Belleayre Music Festival in Highmount on Saturday, July 26 at 8 p.m.
Bebe Neuwirth is an Emmy and Tony award-winning theater, film and television actress, dancer and singer. After making her Broadway debut in 1980 as Sheila in A Chorus Line, she went on to perform in stage revivals of Little Me, Damn Yankees, and Sweet Charity, for which she won a Tony award.
It was with the 1996 revival of Chicago, in which she starred as showgirl and killer Velma Kelly, that she gained her greatest stage recognition. Her performance garnered her Tony and Drama Desk Awards as Best Lead Actress in a Musical. She returned to the musical in 2006, this time as Roxie Hart.
On the small screen, Neuwirth was an integral part of the hit TV sitcom Cheers as Dr. Frasier Crane's wife, Lilith, from 1986 through 1993 - winning two Emmy awards for her work. She reprised the Lilith role in the Cheers spin-off, Frasier, earning an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her portrayal.
Neuwirth's big-screen credits include Green Card, Say AnythingŠ, Jumanji, Summer of Sam, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Liberty Heights and Woody Allen's Celebrity.
Tickets for Bebe Neuwirth's performance range from $65-$45 for reserved seating and $15 for lawn seats.
The weekend of music kicks off on Friday, July 25 at 8 p.m. with "The Post-Neo Trio," featuring Justin Kolb with Abby Newton and Mikhail Horowitz, in Belleayre's Overlook Lodge.
Belleayre's own Justin Kolb has invited two close friends and collaborators, Mikhail Horowitz and Abby Newton, for his eighth appearance at the summer festival. The Post-Neo Trio's stunning first performance in 2000 at the Woodstock Guild's Kleinert-James Arts Center made sparkling use of each of its members' special gifts.
Kolb is acclaimed internationally as a piano virtuoso; Horowitz, an audience favorite, is a provocative poet and performance artist; and Newton enjoys a stellar career as a Celtic and symphonic cellist.
General admission tickets for "The Post-Neo Trio" are $20.
